Chrome Jaguar Duo raced into the current safehouse from outside. They were living in an apartment of sorts. Unfortunately, their current mission left them unable to use one of Quatre's various mansions, even though the apartment was located in the "upper class" side of town. "Oi! Where are you guys? Look at what I snagged! I've always wanted one of these! I can't believe I was lucky enough to get one sitting right outside our building!" Duo looked around the living room. Heero and Wufei came in from the kitchen where they'd been eating lunch and Quatre and Trowa came from the direction of the bedrooms where they'd been… well, who knows *what* they'd been doing. Quatre smiled a little apprehensively at Duo. He'd caught the word Duo had used - snagged. It looked like there was going to be some trouble. Heero had also caught the word. "Duo, what did you do now?" Duo blinked eyes that had suddenly took on an impish gleam. "Well, Hee-chan, I just kinda… took something I've ALWAYS wanted. It's SO cool!" With only that as warning, Duo pulled something out of his pocket - it was the sleek chrome body of a cat -- a Jaguar, in fact. At first no one seemed to realize what they were looking at. Heero was the first to recognize it and his face contorted into what could be called a smirk. "Did that used to be the hood ornament of the new 196 A.C. navy Jaguar parked out in front of the building?" Heero asked, unable to stifle a few snorts of laughter. Duo's jaw dropped. "Yeah, the security was REDICULOUSLY easy to bypass. Baka ought to get a better security system for that *sweet* car, but… how'd you know?" "MAXWEEEEELLLLLLLL!" Wufei's outraged shout rattled the chandeliers. "How DARE you violate Nataku that way!!!! That's IT! You're going to DIE this time!" Duo turned on his heel and ran for the door, calling out "Bye guys! Gotta run!" --Owari-- ============================ |
